SENSSOS is a health tech startup developing biofeedback tools for healthy individuals, patients, and healthcare professionals, with a focus on the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders. The developed tools offer data-driven solutions based on a fusion of electrophysiological and motion data, combined with Extended Reality (XR) technologies. More specifically, they offer real-time information accompanied by corrective feedback on crucial physiological parameters such as muscle activity and posture. This information is displayed on a “live” avatar (i.e., a “digital twin”) of the user while performing physical activities and through tailored and easy-to-understand interfaces.

SENSSOS solutions are designed to facilitate both online (real-time) and offline data processing and visualization. This versatility empowers individual users to take charge of their own health and wellness, and healthcare professionals to provide innovative preventive and rehabilitation services.

Senssos reform

Senssos Reform is a digital biofeedback tool developed specifically for instrumental musicians that comprise:

Wearable straps with embedded EMG electrodes and IMU sensors to track users’ movements.
A mobile application that records and presents musculoskeletal data of the musician. The app displays the musicians’ digital twin as a real-time animated virtual character, while they play their instrument. The digital twin is augmented with relevant biofeedback related to posture and muscle activity, aiding musicians to perform corrective actions while playing.
A docking base that holds the mobile device and allows its display to be mirrored on an external monitor, such as a TV, computer monitor.
